Insect Feed Technologies – Marketing Intern

As a marketing intern, you will work closely with other team members to develop initiatives on various fronts. You’ll get to work with stakeholders across our ecosystem of partners, customers (B2C and B2B) and the general public. 

What you will do and learn: 

• Work on developing a marketing and branding project for B2C channels with clear execution plans, with a presentation and recommendations to be implemented
• E-Commerce Marketing: Managing online store content and ensuring consistency. in brand communications. Work closely with platforms to execute campaigns to drive online sales 
• Assist in the creation of marketing collaterals and liaising with vendors for its production
• Develop and execute social media campaign
• Work closely with the team to identify potential partners for collaboration to drive brand awareness (i.e. brand values, product benefits) and product sales (i.e. insect frass/organic fertilizer, live larvae and dried larvae)
• Offline Retail: Work closely with retail partners to support and drive offline sales

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and characteristics:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in any relevant field of study in a recognized university 
• Have basic skills in design and/or photoshop and/or illustrator 
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven with a strong sense of ownership 
• Can-do attitude - we are a lean team; we are looking for folks that are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
• Enjoys interacting and forming relationships with partners 
• Motivated to work on purposeful projects with a strong interest in sustainability
• Highly tech savvy, analytical, and have strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Balance attention to detail with swift execution - do things quickly, and do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
