About the internship
iLex is offering internships for energetic candidates looking to support the fast growth of a capital markets Fintech:
- Internship is based in Singapore
- Open to Singapore residents or foreign students (with visa)
- Minimum length is 5 months on a full-time basis; part-time can be considered
- Flexible work: Preference for at least 1 day in office depending on the situation
- Monthly stipend of SGD1.5k will be provided
We are willing to explore internship extension with the potential for full-time employment post-graduation.
Scope of the role
The position involves working in close collaboration with the Head of Business Development, APAC as well with the Sales & Marketing, and Client Success teams. Various assignments will be given, including:
- Leading the market intelligence effort on lenders in APAC and EMEA to support sales discussions with clients.
- Investigating Client Relationship Management (CRM) system inconsistencies and improving client management processes.
- Creating pitch collateral to influence and impress our clients in discussions and interactions.
- Assist in client sales and strategic planning activities.
- Further assignments to be defined through the course of the internship as business needs arise.
Joining Criteria
You should be keen on working within a start-up style environment. Requirements for candidates are:
- Studying a Masters, or recent Masters graduate but exceptional Final Year Undergraduates will be considered.
- Demonstrated interest in finance and new technologies.
- Quantitative and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Self-starter mentality, ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Fluency in English and be preferably considered with Chinese (written & communication) ability.
