Interflour produces flour for every application including high protein, medium protein and general purpose flour. We help our customers find the best specification to meet their needs for bread, biscuits, cakes, instant, wet and dry noodles. As well as flour for food, we also provide flour for animal feed including aqua-feed, bran pollard and pellets. Interflour’s product range caters to all customers with 1kg consumer packs, 25kg and 50kg bags as well as bulk orders delivered by container, tanker or ship. Consumers can purchase our 1kg packs from wet and modern markets, convenience stores and supermarkets in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Job Description

  • The group’s HR Intern is responsible for executing tasks relating to all aspects of the company’s HR programs, projects, advisory, operations, inclusive but not limited to payroll, recruitment, training & development, compensation & benefits, and related HR administrative matters.
  • You will be reporting to the Group Director (Head of HR) and working closely with the HR Specialist/Generalist (Business Partner & Operations). Applicant who can commit at least six (6) months is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with Group Director to effectively partner with Group / Regional Business Unit Leaders, Managers and Employees support BAU and HR Generalist needs and initiatives.
  • Partnering with Group Director to design and implement group wide activities for Singapore and other Regional BU teams in Asia.
  • Working closely with the Group HR Specialist to lead and enhance the HR Generalist / HR Operations duties for the Group Office in Singapore and Partner with the Country HR Teams for Regional HR Best Practices.
  • Collaborate with other Group Director and Regional HR Teams to develop and implement HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with country statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing HR Programs and Projects support to the Interflour Business Units and partnering and supporting the Group Director, Head of HR in employee life cycle processes (recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and offboarding).
  • This would include preparing Decks, Project Status updates reports and consolidation of information from BU.
  • Effectively Input, update and maintain HR database, ensuring accuracy of information which includes personal files, insurance policies, organizational charts, and leave records.
  • Attending to HR-related inquiries from internal and external personnel.
  • Responsible for HR Operational Matters such as work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance as advised by Group Director and Group HR Specialist.
  • Assist and provide support in preparation of HR related reports.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc projects assigned by the Group Director.

Requirements

  • Keen interest in Group HR Projects and HR Operations exposure.
  • Possess good knowledge in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Application.
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies.
  • Experience in drafting policies, collaborating & rolling-out Group HR Initiatives and Programs such as Benefits Administration, Talent Management, Learning & Development / Engagement / Culture & Wellness.
  • Strong communication / inter-personal skills with high levels of influencing capabilities with the senior management level.
  • High level influencing and communication skills.
  • A team player with a strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation to get tasks done independently.
  • Genuine interest in developing meaningful HR Initiatives that benefits the People agenda and wellbeing of Interflour employees across the Group.
