Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our lead designer to create design presentations that captivate our clients.
- Research and source products and materials.
- Dive into 3-D modeling using SketchUp and assist in developing technical drawing packages.
- Coordinate procurement processes, including quote requests and purchase orders.
- Sourcing materials and samples and maintaining the sample library.
- Ensure smooth project flow by organising furniture, fittings, and construction schedules.
- Offer hands-on support during installation days, handling sorting, unpacking, and organising tasks.
- Contribute to the smooth running of projects by assisting with project coordination, running errands, and managing various miscellaneous tasks that contribute to project efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or diploma in interior design or equivalent.
- Passion for learning and a dedication to the field of interior design.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a sharp eye for design elements.
- Customer-centric approach and dedication to providing exceptional experiences.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Trimble Layout or Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Canva.
- Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with 3D Studio Max and Enscape.
- New graduates welcome - must have a passion to dive in and learn.
