Overview:We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Business Development Intern to support our Client Success and Sales teams in driving client engagement, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to our sustainable solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in business development, client success strategies, and sales support within an innovative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding and Engagement:
- Assist in guiding new clients through platform registration, asset onboarding, and documentation submission.
- Support tailored training sessions to help clients maximize the platform's potential, including Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) issuance.
- Collaborate with the team to transition trial clients to subscription plans by showcasing platform value.
Market Research and Lead Generation:
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and market opportunities.
- Assist the sales team in lead qualification and data management to optimize outreach efforts.
- Support the creation of client proposals and sales presentations.
Sales Development and Account Growth:
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs and feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive account growth.
- Contribute to revenue-generating initiatives by customizing solutions aligned with client goals.
Strategic Initiatives and Collaboration:
- Work closely with Business Development, Product, and Operations teams to align strategies and deliver impactful client solutions.
- Support senior management in implementing business development initiatives to enhance performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in business, sustainability, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with Generative AI tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian/ASEAN language skills are advantageous.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs.
