Into the Wild runs gritty, messy, wilderness emergency adventures for little heroes. Designed to train up a squad of little heroes capable of administering aid in the event of an emergency. These camps were created for kids who climb and fall out of trees, ride their bikes too fast, lean too far over to see what's in the pond, have to touch everything, believe a swing is a rocket ship bound for Mars... you know the kids we're talking about... Expect most kids to come home more knowledgeable, dirty, (fake) bloody, and happy.
We are looking for a dynamic photographer who is comfortable with the outdoors, loves kids, is comfortable in the wild & interested in Wilderness First Aid. The intern would be responsible for capturing images of the camp activities over the course of our year end camps (Nov 20th to Dec 28th) & would work closely with our team. Details of the camps, dates & times are reflected below. Total 22 days, 3 hours per day. Students are welcome to apply. Intern will receive Into the Wild tee & Trucker hat.
Wilderness Survival Camp 9am-12pm
Crazy fun and wild simulations. Kids learn to deal with snake bites, bee stings, broken bones & more as part of our rescue squad in this 2 day adventure.

Disaster Night Survival Camp 530pm-830pm
Designed to instil not just practical skills but compassion and respect for survivors. Participants must work together as a team to get to safety as night falls.
