Invigilo is a deep tech start-up that is developing an IoT and Video Analytics platform for boosting worksite safety. We aim to develop high end, proprietary algorithms to enhance safety in construction sites to save lives and prevent accidents from happening. Invigilo is currently backed by a prominent deep-tech accelerator that brings many innovative and important opportunities to the company.
As a Software Engineer at Invigilo, your focus will be web application development with some aspects of mobile app development. We are an early stage start-up which gives you the opportunity to dabble in various aspects of software engineering as well as tackling challenging problems. Compensation will be provided in the form of cash/equity. We are looking for a full-stack software engineer/intern who preferably has experience working with video analytics algorithms.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of highly capable AI engineers to create high end web-based applications.
- Fluent with frontend frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, Express.JS, etc.
- Develop front-end and back-end system for computer vision algorithms to visualize the algorithm results.
- Hands-on experience with back-end technologies such as Python, Node, Express and SQL/NoSQL Database.
- Deployment and maintenance of web applications on various local/cloud environments.
What we look out for:
- At least 1-3 years of software engineering experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Entrepreneurial spirit as we are a fast-paced and dynamic start-up.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience in a start-up environment.
