As a trusted partner to corporates, government agencies, investors, startups, SMEs and other ecosystem players across industry verticals worldwide, IoT Tribe brings together communities where tech talent and partnerships can thrive.

We enable corporates and the public sector to disrupt the future through fast-track technology adoption and co-creation, data-driven insights, white-label accelerators, support for intrapreneurship and corporate venturing. We achieve this through a unique, highly collaborative and curated technology ecosystem that drives disruption. We offer our partners unparalleled access to technologies and partnerships that can fuel their businesses and startups access to an equity-free accelerator that will help them scale.

Job Description

We are looking for a Programme & Ecosystem Coordinator based in Singapore who can support and enhance the value of the startups on our acceleration programmes and to grow our ecosystem in Asia.

The Role

We are looking for an energetic trainee with a can-do attitude to support our programmes. You will have a varied skill set and are expected to have demonstrated an interest in tech and entrepreneurship, as well as great interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Duties will be varied and match the pace and needs of the programmes we deliver. They may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Scouting and creating a deal flow of relevant tech startups to join our acceleration programmes: reviewing profiles, shortlisting and outreaching to startups
  • Identifying opportunities and new initiatives to support the needs of our corporate partners and startups
  • Preparing proposals and tenders to support our business development
  • Assisting in the development of the acceleration programme curriculum: Shortlisting workshop speakers, mentors and coordinating schedules
  • Planning and organising the logistics for IoT Tribe events
  • Outreaching to relevant associations, institutions and organisations to grow our network of community partners
  • Actively participating in the community management and marketing of IoT Tribe
  • Tracking & reporting progress of startups within the programme
  • Generally providing support to the Head of Programmes & Head of Partnerships

Skills, qualifications and experience required

We are looking for a creative and driven individual who has a track record of turning possibilities into tangible outcomes.

  • Self-motivated: you will report to a Head of Programmes and support a Head of Partnerships, so it’s important you can organise and prioritize your own workload and successfully complete assigned tasks on time in a guided but autonomous way.
  • A team player: you are committed to the company and are able to work in a team
  • An exceptional communicator: you are able to engage with internal and external stakeholders professionally; you know how to make attractive presentations and marketing collaterals, write proposals or articles that people will be genuinely interested in reading, and have an excellent command of English
  • Digitally literate: you have a thorough basis of computer applications used in the start-up or technology business
  • Holds a relevant degree and have graduated in year 2019 or 2020
  • Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

You will also be a firm believer that women play a valuable role in technology and, whether you are a man or a woman, strive to make sure that women participate in the programme as founders, mentors, investors and supporters.

Terms

Traineeship will be for 9 months, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position.

You will be offered a traineeship allowance of S$2,500/month, annual leave and basic health insurance.
