Media Planning Intern (3 to 6 Months Duration)
Key Responsibilities for Interns
Interns will be part of integrated media planning teams to deliver excellence in day-to-day media operations as part of a larger ambition to drive growth for our clients. Interns will report to a manager in charge of a set of accounts and their responsibilities will include the following:
A) Media Planning
- Assist the integrated media planning team to generate and analyse data which will be used to create insights for presentations as overall support to the Account Director / Manager to build an overall strategy. This includes being able to independently use media research tools such as Nielsen Clear Decisions, AdQuest and Global Web Index to pull media data.
- In the process, learn foundational understanding of media knowledge in the areas of media measurement (e.g. Impressions, GRPs, Reach), media landscape in Singapore (e.g. media partners and their capabilities)
B) Media Implementation & Reporting
- Assist the integrated media planning team in the following areas,
- Achieve performance KPIs for clients which works to prove the value of paid search, social & biddable to the clients and internal teams
- Be able to provide meaningful insights and analysis when sending reports to clients/core teams
- Manage media booking deadlines, and ensure material deadlines are clearly communicated and managed with the client/creative team
- Identify issues with creative and troubleshoot
- Be responsible and accountable for timely delivery of reports and recommendations
C) Client and Account Management
- Should the trainee be found with the relevant capabilities in their time with us, there will be opportunities to engage clients with close supervision from the manager in the areas manage day-to-day campaign implementation
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated from a tertiary institution (Polytechnic, University).
- We are open to any discipline of study as long as there is strong interest and eagerness to learn about media, communications and on-going trends.
- Team player who is adaptive, has a great work ethic, and willing to learn
