Back in 1999, Iris was founded by a team of six people around a single client. Those six founders are still at the very heart of our business. Today, Iris is a thriving micro network of over 1,000 people in 14 locations across the globe.

We’re looking for a passionate individual, someone who loves all things social media and who is hungry to build their expertise in this field. We respect individuals who are always curious, questioning the status quo and challenging how things can be improved with their fresh perspectives.
The right candidate will be someone who loves details and is thorough in their work. For them, they take pride in delivering high quality work that is carefully executed. They are open to every challenge and opportunity, often taking the initiative to go beyond what is asked of them to add incremental value.
While a strong system of support is always extended in this learning phase, who we are looking for is definitely not someone who does the bare minimum and cowers when facing complexity or difficulties.
You will be part of a cross-agency team (data, strategy, creative, operations), tasked in unlocking new business opportunities within the social and digital landscape.
What we’re looking for…Social Media Intern
Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities
- Responsibilities include social media content and calendar planning, community management, tracking social media analytics and driving insights to share with wider team
- Relationship building with our online community through social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Exposure to use of social media tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr
- Turning insights into actions during monthly/quarterly report creation
- Share and contribute best practices in quantitative and qualitative reporting techniques
- Analyze mainstream media and social media content to draw meaningful insights which help with furthering our clients' strategic goals
- Work closely and interdependently with your internal team, enterprise clients and Account Managers with a shared purpose of value-adding to clients
Requirements
- Proficient in English
- Entry level
- Must be a team player
- Excited about everything social media
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
- Meticulous – have an eye for detail, organised with an ability to prioritize assignment
