Assist the IRONMAN® Asia Commercial Sales team in managing sponsorships and partnerships for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to touch on two key areas of sports marketing – sales and client success – through working with well-known and global brands. You will not only help to execute one of Asia’s largest sporting events, but also gain understanding of how brands can utilise sporting events, and events in general, to reach, engage and convert consumers. You will also be involved in assisting with SGX Bull Charge Run.
Responsibilities
Assisting in sales, otherwise known as client acquisition – this includes:
Researching prospective brands who could be sponsors/partners for the event
Brainstorming ways brands can engage consumers through Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, and assisting the team with drafting proposals
Assisting in client success by providing the best experience for existing clients – this includes:
Managing advertising promotions for clients (social media, eDMs and website content)
Managing event-day branding and on-ground activations
Liaising with clients to meet expectations and facilitate execution
Requirements:
- High aptitude for verbal and written communication
- Self-driven, detailed-oriented and organised
- Strong people skills with the ability to work with a team as well as individually
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in, or interest to learn, business softwares such as Marketo and Facebook Ads Manager
- Interest in sports marketing
