Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Insights Manager, the Insights Analyst intern will be involved in the processing of various media articles into structured formats, to ensure a high level of relevancy of media articles for clients that can be sent for further data processing and also for archiving.
He or she may also be involved in data analysis; extracting vital information and insights based on clients’ needs, objectives and challenges to produce meaningful interpretations and tangible outputs that helps the clients. He or she will write concise quality reports and presentation decks based on the analyzed data.
This individual may also need to work closely with other teams such as Production & Research team on other miscellaneous duties assigned.
Requirement:
1. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business (preferably in marketing and communications) or related discipline
2. Some level of experience in the following areas are essential:
a. Mainstream or social media monitoring and analysis, and/or
b. Data analysis in areas of corporate communication, public relations, marketing or market research
c. Experience in data visualization and using dashboard tools, Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
3. English language reading & writing skills is a MUST
4. Chinese (Simplified) reading skills is a MUST
5. Competencies in translating any of the following languages into English would be considered FAVORABLY
a. Bahasa Indonesia
b. Malay
6. Good analytical and logical skills – able to translate data into actionable insights in the simplest and concise fashion, eye for details, and ask the “what does this mean?” to the data
7. Excellent report writing skill – experience in communications and/or BOTH qualitative and quantitative research is a plus.
