Job Description

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9-5pm

Are you passionate about interiors, e-commerce and customer servie? At Island Living, you will get the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of furniture and homewares e-commerce in a fun and varied role. If you have an interest or prior experience in digital marketing or graphic design, you will also have the opportunity to express your creative ideas and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Interested in c-commerce? You will also learn the fundamentals of how our business operates on a day-to-day basis.

In the process, you will actively contribute ideas to improving the physical shopping experience for furniture & home furnishings for our customers, as well as learn about interior decoration principles. This is a full-time position and opportunity to join a young and growing team. 

After completing the internship, there will be an opportunity to join the company in a full time or part time role.

Responsibilities:

- Attending to customers in the showroom

- Attending to customer inquiries over email and phone

- Providing support to our e-commerce team

- Assist in replying to chats across our e-commerce platforms

 

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of administrative works

• Basic knowledge of computer literacy

• High agility and adaptability. Fast-paced & dynamic working environment

Graphic design, interior design or e-commerce experience is a plus.
