Job Description:

The Accountant is a dedicated, versatile, technically skilled business professional who is a member of the finance team and supports executive, operational, and revenue, cycle teams. Must be extremely trustworthy and respect the boundaries of confidentiality. This position impacts data analytics and process improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities may include:

• Complete the month-end close process and prepare monthly financial statements and reports for the Board and Management
• Enter, maintain, and/or process information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information
• Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
• Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
• Data analytics, including monthly and quarterly reporting and ad hoc analytic needs. 
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis. 
• Sales/ use tax filling including review of sales report and payables transactions to determine sales and use tax due, along with filing returns with the treasury. 

Working hours: weekends 9 am - 7 pm
