Jaye – Tiktok Expert

jaye has been part of a number of projects under several aliases spanning the globe. He began in a local folk-rock duo and fronted a Japan-based funk group before moving to the UK where he thrived as a DJ for an X-Factor finalist.

After his return to Singapore, he earned over 1 million streams and landed on the Spotify Viral Charts with his comedy raps ‘Suprememan’ and ‘Bonsai’ under the moniker: AZN SEN$ATION.

The artist later re-debuted as jaye with the 2019 Halloween bop ‘TOMORROW’, alluding to his own history with suicidal ideation and the existential apathy that comes with it. The track has generated 122K

streams on Spotify and 1.2 Million streams on Youtube. Merch proceeds were dedicated to sucide prevention with the Samaritans of Singapore (SOS).

Romantic Valentine’s Day ballad ‘DEJAVU’ f ollowed suit, rallying 178K Spotify streams and 1 Million Youtube views within a short couple months. The poignant track imagines life without the person who saved him from an untimely end: his wife. Proceeds here went to the  Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) in support of Dementia caregiving.

His latest deconstructed track 'ADHD', rallied 125K Spotify streams and 409K Youtube views from a 4-part ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ format Music Video inspired by BlackMirror’s Bandersnatch. The track was further gamified with a Super Mario-esque IG filter game. Proceeds went to Spark, an ADHD non-profit organization.
