About the Role: We offer a great opportunity to the right candidate to participate in a number of Singapore and cross-border matters, including mergers, acquisitions, valuation, debt and due diligence workstreams. You will be involved in matters spanning over a number of different sectors and jurisdictions and play an important role in structuring mergers, acquisitions and investment decisions and transactions.

We envision you would commit for a period of minimum two months with about 30-40 hours per week. Flexible hours and remote work are possible to ensure that you can attend to your academic coursework, while still gaining relevant work experience.

Work Description: We would expect you to assist with efforts related to:

• Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
• Recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, valuation and debt private equity transactions
• Preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks
• Performing due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of potential and live transactions
• Creating presentations for client portfolios

Requirements and Eligibility: You are expected to be:

1. Available from November 20, 2023 for one month at our Cecil Street office. The internship may likely be extended.
2. A third- or fourth-year corporate finance, accounting or economics student or a graduate
3. Interested in M&A, valuation and debt advisory across different sectors
4. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe PDF
5. Permitted to work in Singapore

It would be advantageous if you master Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia and Malaysia, but this is not an essential requirement.
