Job Description

Objective

To build DePuy Synthes insights and analytics capability in Assets Management and Supply Chain Planning.

 

Area to be covered

1. Understanding of DPS supply chain, product portfolio and connected business insights.

2. Sustain, adapt, and design data workflow prototypes to produce analytical datasets with data from multiple formats and systems.

3. Pioneer the development of automation for data extraction and reports distribution.

4. Support the maturity and adoption of datasets/visuals/connected insights via the development of training and knowledge materials.

 

Curriculum

1. Understanding of DPS supply chain, product portfolio and connected business insights.

  • Set operations flow, product lifecycle, product portfolio and hierarchy.
  • Uncover fresh perspectives to connected insights from supply chain and financial datasets related to revenue, profitability, and customer experience.

 

2. Sustain, adapt, and design data workflow prototypes to produce analytical datasets with data from changing formats and systems.

  • Assess the reliability, completeness, and readiness of new data sources.
  • Refresh and validate existing data workflows for analytics and visuals.
  • Perform troubleshooting, simplify, and adapt new data workflow prototypes to sustain existing datasets.
  • Develop and update processes to engage stakeholders and ensure the reliable supply of data.
  • Escalate, resolve, and track data source exceptions.

 

3. Pioneer the development of desktop automation for data extraction and reports distribution.

  • Explore and prototype the automation of data transfer to stakeholders or into repositories via features such as scheduling, subscription, alerts, automated emailing etc.
  • Leverage available tools e.g. MS Power applications, Python

 

4. Support the maturity and adoption of datasets/visuals/connected insights via the development of training and knowledge materials.

  • Document, catalog and map current data sources, workflows, datasets, visuals and insights generated.
  • Uncover redundancies and opportunities to improve the efficiency of data processing and data source sustenance.
  • Explore and design data workflow snippets and new datasets to enrich existing datasets.
