Job Description

Position: Finance and Administrator 

Location:Punggol

Department: Finance and Administration 

Employment Type:Internship

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Administrator to join our team. This role combines financial management and administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of our financial resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Financial Management**:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, ledgers, and journals.

- Prepare and manage invoices, payments, and receipts.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure effective financial planning.

- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and monthly management accounts.

- Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors during audits.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

2. **Administration**:

- Manage office operations and administrative tasks to support day-to-day business activities.

- Handle correspondence, scheduling, and coordination of meetings and appointments.

- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.

- Manage employee records and assist with HR tasks, such as payroll processing and benefits administration.

- Organize company events, meetings, and training sessions.

- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

3. **Data Management and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records and databases for financial and administrative purposes.

- Prepare regular reports for management review and decision-making.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

4. **Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and company policies.

- Monitor and report on financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

5. **Support Functions**:

- Provide administrative support to senior management and other departments as required.

- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in finance and administration roles, preferably in a similar industry.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.
