Job Title: Accounting Intern
Business Team: Finance
As a member of K2’s finance team, this intern’s role is to make sure the monthly financial closing process is smooth, data is accurate and timelines are met.
Your day to day will involve...
Preparing vendor payments and staff reimbursement, check and review payment requests from different requestors to ensure compliance with local and corporate policies
Intercompany transaction matching and payment
Fixed assets booking, working with the cross functional team on the fixed assets management process and leading the annual fixed assets physical count
Related journal voucher booking to be compliant with GAAP to make sure the month financial closing is smooth, accurate and meet corporate timeline
Monthly reconciliation of the responsible account and making sure the long aging item are timely cleared and the balance is accurate
Finance record retention

Undergrad/grad student with Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Masters program ideal but not a prerequisite)
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrate flexibility, independence and initiative to perform tasks successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
Detail oriented, with a passion to learn best business practices in an MNC
