The HR & Admin team at Kacific manages and delivers core HR operations functions across the organization, covering the full employee life cycle, and human capital matters.
The HR Intern should have strong communication and writing skills and keep abreast of the latest developments in employment legislation to determine how the company’s HR policies may be affected. The role does not require technical skills and could include managing internal data, developing creative solutions to improve processes, and accessing relevant information for the team.
- Preparation of HR letters, agreements, and other documentation, adhering to established templates and guidelines.
- Manage the organization and storage of employment-related agreements and documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient documentation processes.
- Develop and maintain a centralized system for storing and retrieving HR documents, such as employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, and policy manuals.
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and enhancing people policies, including Employee Leave Benefits, Staff Benefits Policy, and HR Policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to Learning & Development initiatives, conducting skill-gap analyses, researching training programs/courses, and collaborating with vendors. Maintain an updated tracking list to monitor progress.
- Provide support for end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Develop communication materials that articulate the company’s culture, values, and expected behaviors, fostering a cohesive and inclusive work environment.
- Establish and maintain administrative systems and processes for effective management of correspondences, documentation, compliance, reporting requirements, and budget and expense management.
- Support employee engagement and communications projects within Singapore and the Southeast/Pacific Region. Promote staff activities in accordance with Kacific’s core values, involving effective liaison with vendors.
- Assist in organising and executing internal wellness and engagement activities, (e.g. National Day, Deepavali, etc).
- Undertake other ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse tasks.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to various HR functions.
