Job Description

Kacific is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance Team for a 3-month internship. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, focusing on revenue management, invoicing, reconciliation, and general accounting duties. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and work alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation, verification, and posting of revenue entries.
  • Support the invoicing process, including generating, reviewing, and distributing invoices to clients.
  • Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between internal records and bank statements.
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analysis as needed.
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
  • Support in ad hoc accounting tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
