Job Description

The Supply Chain intern will be responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Team in meeting both Service Delivery department and corporate objectives. The candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, PO processing and management of suppliers and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist/Support purchasing processes and maintenance on a daily basis.
  • Access and navigate inventory management systems to manage purchase orders and inventory records.
  • Ensure accurate stock information in both systems and physical warehouses.
  • Participate in supply chain-related meetings and contribute insights as needed.
  • Assist with supplier communications, both local and international.
  • Perform data collection, maintain delivery and serial number databases, and analyse data for stock transfers and returns.
  • Support local or import/export activities and data analysis as needed.
  • Review current purchasing procedures and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide support to the supply chain team by following up with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate smooth workflows.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or undergraduate student majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and a self-motivated mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in standard office tools, including spreadsheets, presentations, and document processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to track tasks, follow up with stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly to meet deadlines.
