Job Description

The Systems and Automation Intern will play a key supporting role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring seamless ticketing processes for our services. The intern will support the NOC team’s mission across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Systems Evaluation and Enhancement:

  • Assist in evaluating tools and systems to enhance operational workflows.
  • Support system transitions, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Contribute to the configuration and setup of systems to meet team requirements.

2. Workflow Improvement:

  • Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.

3. Data Reporting and Automation:

  • Develop processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data reporting.
  • Automate routine reporting tasks to save time and ensure consistency.

4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Create comprehensive guides and documentation to support team operations.
  • Explore innovative solutions to enhance team knowledge-sharing capabilities.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with team members to address operational challenges.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and key findings to stakeholders
  • Any adhoc tasks and duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (experience with any major platform is a plus).
  • Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Experience with reporting tools or data visualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of chatbot technologies and integrations.
  • Prior experience with process automation or workflow optimization.
