We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to company policies for purchases, payments, and financial controls. You will also be responsible for preparing expenses budgets and forecasts, and ensuring timely and accurate closure of Accounts Payable modules.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all purchases, payments, and financial controls are in compliance with the Company's policies and procedures.
- Prepare expenses budgets and forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Review payments to universities and maintain a comprehensive understanding of various University payment processes and changes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly schedules for management review, providing insights into expenses trends with relevant commentary.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closure of Accounts Payable modules, and analyze company expenses to identify areas of concern and recommend improvements.
- Participate in Accounts Payable related automation projects and address any finance-related system issues, including system implementations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with local financial reporting standards, corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax statutory requirements.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Work Arrangements: Hybrid
Location: Singapore (Central Area – Dhoby Ghaut MRT/Little India MRT/Rochor MRT)
