We are seeking a dynamic individual who possesses a deep understanding of career development and a genuine desire to help individuals become job-ready.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive job readiness screenings and skills inventory assessments for jobseekers, ensuring a holistic understanding of their capabilities.
- Develop, consolidate, and monitor strategic career plans tailored to the unique needs of each jobseeker, fostering their career growth.
- Provide personalized coaching and guidance to jobseekers through one-on-one sessions or group workshops, focusing on enhancing employability skills such as resume writing, job search techniques, interview preparation, and skills gap training.
- Drive the conceptualization, support, and execution of projects, workshops, and events aimed at boosting the employability of jobseekers. These initiatives may include career wellness workshops, career fairs, seminars, and Kaplan Industry Projects.
- Address jobseekers' needs related to employability aspects, including job applications, introductions to potential employers, networking opportunities, and mentorship matching.
- Conduct relevant surveys and focus group discussions to gather insights into the employability needs of jobseekers, ensuring a data-driven approach.
- Collaborate with the Employability Services & Alumni team to identify and source job vacancies that align with jobseekers' skill sets, thereby enhancing employability outcomes.
- Assist in managing student leaders and participating in student clubs' activities as required by the Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor on effective marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance employability outcomes for jobseekers.
- Work diligently towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.
- Support and contribute to adhoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in career coaching, counselling or career advisory roles.
- Good awareness of industry hiring needs and talent development demands.
- Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders.
- Experience in organizing projects and events.
- Strong interest in working with various stakeholders, including corporates and adult job seekers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
Other Information
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm
Work Arrangements: Hybrid (Blend of in-office and remote work)
Location: Singapore (Central Area – Dhoby Ghaut MRT/Little India MRT/Rochor MRT)
