Karpenko Gymnastics Academy – Videographer Intern

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative videographer to work with us, Karpenko Gymnastics Academy (KGA). The Videographer Intern will support the marketing team with capturing various events/campaigns and have the opportunity to add this invaluable experience to their portfolio.

Internship Functions

· Participate in the creation process, from idea generation to final editing, for multiple events/projects

· Research and assist in script-writing

· Shoot events as required

· Help with gear set up (cameras, lighting, audio)

· Complete post-production work including: assembling raw footage, video cutting and editing, music selection, using Adobe After Effect to enhance the product , delivery of rough and final products

· Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements, and the editing of sound and light, to ensure a high-quality viewing experience using video editing equipment

· Log footage from various productions and continue to organize it for easy access

· Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Edit and shoot videos for our various gyms/gyms events

• Conceptualise and assist the marketing team with pre-production work, including creating storyboards, mood boards, and a content calendar to ensure a cohesive vision

• Handle camera and lighting equipment, setting up lights, and monitoring the condition of equipment to maintain optimal functionality and understanding the video light concepts

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital content and platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, and other relevant channels

· A good working knowledge of the Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effect

· Ability to use ADSLR Cameras

· High level of attention to detail

· Demonstrated videography experience

· Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints

· Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment

· Photography skills a plus but not essential

· Any other ad hocs required by team/management
