Job Description

Role

As a Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for identifying and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather clear, concise business and functional requirements for our Product and Engineering team to execute on. You will be working closely with customers to identify gaps between current and future state processes and systems while collaborating with Solution Architects and other technical stakeholders to architect and deliver scalable and extensible solutions and integrations. BA’s responsibilities also include conducting business process mapping and analysis, creating reports, and analyzing data as part of a multi-disciplinary team that designs and implements solutions to support our customers’ operational and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and end users to gather, define and document business requirements.
  • Develop “as-is” and “to-be” process mapping to support the design, development or customization of our solution(s) for customers, with associated documentation.
  • Conduct ad hoc research and analysis around assigned projects and related industries.
  • Manage and implement projects that help coordinate and integrate the flow of critical business data through multiple functional areas and applications.
  • Create and test user stories to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Assist Product team to prepare backlogs, groom stories and plan upcoming sprints.
  • Articulate value and prioritization rationale to internal team based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, Business or related fields.
  • Ability to interpret customer needs into application and operational requirements.
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Execution oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment.
  • Experience in IT project management or in supporting process improvement related projects, preferably touching multiple departments, is an added bonus.
