Kelare Technologies Pte. Ltd. – Full Stack Developer – Unified Communications

Unified Communications is a key component of Kelare’s product offering. While a lot of telecommunication problems are “solved” in the realm of PBX software, our customers need more - Kelare customers communicate in multiple ways, securely, on our platform daily. We are hiring software engineers to increase the momentum within our product offering. If you have experience building high availability voice, text and data communication systems with open source real-time communication software + commercial communications platform APIs or are passionate about this and is a strong coder, we’d love to talk to you about this opportunity.

The features we build are inherently heavy on security, complex in workflow, and include extensive integrations to mobile devices. You’ll have to be creative, build on top of a lot of existing technology, and stay focused on Kelare’s core value proposition of revenue efficiency. You’ll be building systems to ensure communication is simple, reliable, and secure; so that our customers can reduce the time on clicking around separate tools or performing repetitive actions and focus on what matters most – securely interacting with their contacts.

On the Product Development Team, we:

• Own features end-to-end, from the customer's needs all the way to the back-end implementation

• Are highly collaborative and distribute technical leadership throughout the team

• Do Agile development, with Sprints and regular retrospectives

• Function in a highly progressive, quick-iteration environment focused on delivering consistent, incremental value and enhancements to our product offering

We’re currently shoring up the core functionalities of our Unified Communications product. In the long term, we want to give customers the same edge with calling and messaging that they have with email: the ability to optimize and constantly improve how they interact with contacts and customers. We will face new challenges as we continue to scale out to ten times the volume of calls, we have today and beyond. These efforts present a diverse gamut of work that will help enhance Kelare’s competitive edge by making our customers more efficient, effective, and secure.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

• Working with commercial CPaaS APIs and open-source real-time communication software to manage calls, messages, and security

• Working with stakeholders to make sure our customers have the tools they need to be successful on our platform

• Finding quick ways to prototype and test possible solutions to large problems

• Looking up and down the stack for the best return on investment for any given pain point

• Working on one of the most visible parts of Kelare’s product - to both our customers and the rest of our organization

Your Qualifications Should Include:

• Experience with building back-end services using C and C++

• Exposure to multiple scripting languages including Django, JavaScript and Python is preferred.

• Understanding of telephony technologies, especially Voice and Data transmission protocols, including SIP, PJSIP, TDM, XMPP, RTP, to facilitate real-time communication between users with phone numbers across the globe.

• Experience in coding against the Asterisk platforms.

• Exposure to DevOps and Continuous Delivery Tools such as AWX, Ansible or Jenkins

• Excellent communication skills

• Consistently exhibits personal accountability to outcomes to all team members, peers, and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines

• Ability to quickly ramp up new technologies and start contributing
