Keywords Studio Singapore – Senior VFX Artist

Responsibilities: • Take visual direction from the VFX Lead. • Create and supervise the development of unique, high quality in-game visual effects. • Insure all assets are developed and delivered optimized and game ready, as per specifications, on time and on budget. • Read and internalize client specifications and insure all team members have complete understanding of all project requirements. • Use industry standard tools to create content for VFX (Photoshop, Cascade etc.) • Implement VFX into various game engines. • Work with the other artists, VFX Lead and Project Managers to create asset lists, schedules and budgets • Mentor and train junior and mid-level VFX artists on the team • Work with the Lead VFX Artist to develop and document technical specifications and pipelines

Experience and Skills required: • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English. • At least 5 years of experience in creating real-time VFX for video games. • Shipped at least 1 AAA game using commercial game engine in a similar role. • Must be results oriented, highly organized and a self-driven professional capable of insuring clients' needs come first. • Possess excellent management and leadership skills in the video game or a professional services industry. • Highly artistic with a strong technical aptitude for creating custom shaders and scripts and for optimizing and integrating VFX in-game. • Deep knowledge and experience with industry standard tools and game engines. • Proven ability to create high quality, engine ready visual effects within a tight deadline and budget. • Able to work with and supervise both onsite and offsite resources to develop engine ready content. • Strong passion for playing and making video games. • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.
