POSITION SUMMARY:
Candidate is expected to take on two projects – Shopper Marketing and Revenue Management.
Shopper marketing is geared towards understanding shopper behavior and then informing the right execution tactics to win with the shopper.
Specifically,
- Absorb, summarize and make key recommendation on shopper execution strategies based on already available research in KC
- Conduct competition shopper marketing practice scan – summarize and share key learnings
- Design pilot, analyze results to understand shopper behavior with target customers like Lazada
- Conduct pilots and analyze results and impact
Revenue management is focused on identifying opportunities to grow revenue profitably. Specifically,
- Conduct analysis on data to identify pricing and promotion opportunity
- Make recommendations on pricing and promotion approach based on analysis
KEY COMPETENCIES: Candidate should be
- Structured problem solver i.e. ability to take a lot of information and identify the key insights/ action points
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and being able to solve problems without 100% information available by making the right assumptions
- Good at excel modeling and understand basic items on P&L
- Quick to (self) learn, self-starter (requiring minimum supervision) and establish key relationships
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA or advanced degree would be preferred.
Experience in FMCG or Retail (preferred)
Experience in Analytics projects (must)
Minimum requirement: To be able to take on minimum 8 weeks internship
