About the job:

• perform minor maintenance
• performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• carry out filter changes
• isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
• adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors
• commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
• performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• proper handing and blending of non-conforming and off specs products
• preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
• performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
• performing emergency response activities and drills

About you:

• Secondary school/NITEC in Chemical Process Technology/Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. 
• Experience in operating polymerization unit and extrusion unit with automated control would be an added advantage.
• Possesses basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
• An effective team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift in Jurong Island.
• Overseas training opportunity in Italy for candidates who fulfilled requirements. Employment bond is applicable for overseas training.
• Remuneration and job title will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences.
• Singaporean only
