Kingsforce Management Services Pte. Ltd. – Chemical Technician (Shift | Jurong Island)

*Please note that this role will be working on 12-hours rotating shift.

*Work Location: Jurong Island (company transport provided)

*Working Hours: 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am (alternate night and morning shift)

*Salary range: $2,900 - $3,400 (inclusive of basic salary + allowance), AWS and Variable Bonus

About the role: Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operations of the process units and equipment by measuring, recording, and controlling process operating parameters. He/She is also expected to diagnose and rectify systems and components’ faults per established procedures and specifications and ensure that the process units and equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance Performing checks, start-up, and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
• Carry out filter changes
• Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations
• Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under the supervision of Supervisors
• Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment
• Performing emergency shutdown of process equipment
• Proper handling and blending of non-conforming and off-spec products
• Preparing plant equipment for maintenance
• Preparing chemicals, including mixing and dilution, for process operations
• Performing inter-tank transfers of chemicals and products based on established quality procedures.
• Performing emergency response activities and drills

About you:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
• At least 2-3 years’ working experience as a Process Technician in the chemical industry.
