Kingsforce Management Services Pte. Ltd. – Lab Assistant (Chemical Manufacturing | Jurong Island)

*Work Location: Jurong Island (company transport is provided in Jurong East MRT)

*Salary range: $2,000 - $3,200 + Allowance + AWS + VB

About the role: The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for conducting of laboratory tests and samples and quality inspections assigned to them by the Supervisor. He / she is expected to be knowledgeable on all equipment operating procedures as well as all quality control procedures and competent on the use of laboratory equipment.

Other responsibilities include:

• raw material process and finished product quality control analysis
• advance maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment
• maintenance of chemicals and consumables inventory, preparation and standardization of chemical reagents and waste management.
• maintenance of quality records and development of quality procedures
• training of junior laboratory or chemical technicians
• Calibration of equipment
• Conduct and contribute to risk assessment, Quality Procedures and Decision making on quality & maintenance
• Procurement of materials and budget controls
• Implementing QA & Safety Activities

About you: 

• Education Requirement: ITE / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Sciences etc.
• Years of work experience: At least 2 - 3 years in chemical manufacturing environment.
• Other requirements: May need to work overtime on weekdays, weekend, PH and occasionally mid-night hrs. (OT pay provided where applicable)
