Job Description

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer must be highly proficient in all design aspects with the goal to create scroll stopping ads for the Company’s ad campaigns and other digital marketing collaterals.

The incumbent will support the Marketing and Business Development team by creating first class visual communications and design across presentations, new business pitches, digital and print materials. The position will also translate and position content and data into meaningful visual communications that tell a powerful story while being clear, engaging, sophisticated, and in line with the Company’s brand guidelines and templates.

Key scopes involve creating a wide variety of visual content for pitch presentations, business collaterals, social, campaign & digital assets across channels. He/she must also demonstrate solid strategic thinking and ideation skills built on relevant insights.

In addition, the Graphic Designer would also be assisting with writing and creating content for the Company’s social media channels. The incumbent would also assist as a community manager in replying any inquiries or requests on the Company’s website and social media platforms.

The focus will be on APAC countries and therefore the position is to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Conceptualise, develop forward thinking and captivating design concepts, graphics and layout for new business pitches and marketing collaterals such as flyers, poster, packaging, infographics, brochures, advertising content, exhibitions displays, POS displays, and corporate identity according to Company’s brand guidelines.

2. Develop and design digital assets such as website banners and graphics, social media graphics, enewsletters, event invitations, signages, video and animation.

3. Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development team to recommend, brainstorm and transform concepts into visual communications for campaigns and product launches.

4. Capture studio-quality photography and videography for brand, marketing and promotional use.

5. Enhance and test graphics across various media by gathering information, data through research on competitors and market trends.

6. Manage, develop, edit and produce designs and graphics in line with the brand identity, from conceptualization to design execution, obtain needed quotations and production jobs.

7. Manage and maintain proper documentation of all graphic files and brand assets produced for the Company’s brand.

8. Plan, design and manage the Company’s social media channels and engage with the Company’s social media followers.

 Requirements

1. Possess a good knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro etc. Basic video editing, motion graphics and animation skills are a plus.

2. A creative and versatile individual with a keen eye for design and aesthetics that goes beyond pretty, get a thrill out of applying strategic creative thinking and knows how to give every design project a gut check.

3. Ability to take ownership of projects and produce high quality work with minimum supervision.

4. Great organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage time sensibly and proportionately with project priorities is critical.

5. Possess strong initiatives and critical thinking.

6. Reliable, responsible and able to work independently. Show willingness to be hands on and get the job done.

7. Display a strong capacity to see the positive aspects in anything, with a "go getting" attitude.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey information in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.

Handles the visual side of the Company by establishing creative direction for the Company as well as brand guidelines.

Education & Qualification

Possess Diploma/Degree in Visual Communications/Graphic Design/Fine Arts/Digital media or equivalent qualification.

Work Experience

1. Proven graphic designing experience ideally in tech and/or education, with at least 2–3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.

2. Prior experience working on social media/digital assets.
