Schedule:
This is a freelance/fractional role with a remote work arrangement. While candidates can be based anywhere, they should ideally reside in a location with a timezone overlapping with Singapore (GMT+8), where the company is based.Working hours will be discussed during the interview, aligning our needs with your availability.
Responsibilities:
You’ll review media pitches and identify stories that align with KrASIA’s editorial focus.You’ll translate and edit content from our sister sites (such as 36Kr) for republication on KrASIA’s platform.You’ll support KrASIA’s projects with writing, proofreading, and editing tasks.
You are an ideal candidate if:
You edit with precision, ensuring content is sharp, clean, and compelling.You bring, preferably, at least 2 years of editing experience in digital publications.You are well-versed in Asian tech trends, including China, across industries like artificial intelligence, e-commerce, vehicles, the sharing economy, and more.You know what readers want and can craft stories that resonate with them.You uphold accuracy and journalistic integrity without compromise.You possess native proficiency in English and a strong command of Chinese (both reading and speaking).
