Junior FF&E Designer

We are currently recruiting for an FF&E designer to join our company

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with excellent design, specification and delivery skills to join a dynamic, ambitious and growing company in Singapore

Who are we looking for? 

You will be a creative FF&E designer with a solid background in interior design. The preferred candidate will have proven experience in commercial design and you will have worked from concept to completion in accordance with the clients brief with the proven ability to work independently.

You will have experience and an understanding of managing project budgets and timelines, including the FF&E procurement process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Work on a single restaurant project – help develop and execute the FF&E direction.
• Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
• Building relationships with suppliers
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company
• Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
• Assisting with relevant social media and marketing tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Ability to establish logical action plans to complete work and provide technically sound solutions within deadline and budget constraints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign and/or equal program for the production of drawings, mood boards and presentation material
• Ability to employ creative and innovative thought processes
