As our global presence expands, we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals who can adapt and improvise as our business reaches new levels. The Role
This is an opportunity to learn from a high calibre boutique team and work alongside partners who have decades of combined experience in structuring financing solutions, deal origination, and discretionary investments.
The successful candidate will assist our team in producing concise reports, supported by thoughtful analyses to aid our investment and financing decisions. Your job scope may include:
- Deal screening – Provide screening assessments across the pipeline of prospective deals.
- Investment research – Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies, including but not limited to market/industry research, business financial modelling, financial statement analysis and valuation.
- Portfolio monitoring – Track portfolio changes and stay abreast of daily developments.
- Others – The team may assign you other ad hoc tasks from time to time.
*Candidates must be able to commit to a 4-month full-time internship or a longer part-time internship
Upon completion of the internship and depending on our hiring needs, we may extend an offer for a full-time job opportunity with Lane Hill.
Requirements
- You should be attaining a degree in a quantitative discipline from a reputable university and on track to graduate with honours.
- Ideally, you will have some experience in and passion for investment research, while possessing the relevant skills in financial modelling, writing and idea presentation.
- You are intellectually curious and willing to learn, whilst also possessing strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- You are flexible to work across all functions within the team and dedicated to supporting your colleagues.
- Fluency in mandarin will be viewed favourably.
