Job Description
  • To plan and update the appropriate system parameters promptly according to material movements, as well as maintaining stock level within responsible areas (by product family) to meet inventory objectives.
  • Perform data entry, filing and documentation of Purchase Orders, ie updating of order confirmations from vendor and delivery quantities in systems.
  • Coordinates with forwarders on inbound shipping schedules, and update in systems promptly and accurately. Filing and distributing of shipping documents to logistics department to facilitate goods receiving activities.
  • Verifications of invoices from vendor for accuracy in terms of prices and quantities.
  • Reviews and verifies purchase request (PR) submitted by requisitioning departments for Maintenance, Repairs and Operational supplies (MRO) items and places orders for MRO items to vendors after approval of PR is given.
  • Follows up on orders ensuring that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Purchase of Office Stationery and Pantry items
  • Process claims where defects are related to the Vendor
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Purchasing Planning Manager
