Job Description

Reporting to the Category Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the relationship with Lazada's most important sellers
  • Managing the development of the assortment of a product category
  • Managing the revenue and margin growth of this category
  • Working with Regional category managers to develop a wide assortment without losing focus on revenue growth
  • Managing pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key sellers in the category
  • Negotiating deals with sellers and work with marketing to develop matching initiatives to boost revenues

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  • Bachelor from a leading university and minimum 2 years’ experience in Retail, Sales or Relationship Management
  • Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
  • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Macros) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders and presenting both over the phone and in person
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin is a plus
