Job Description

Retail Sales and Customer Service Executive (INTERN)

  • Needs to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business.
    Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. 
  • You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. 
  • A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.
  • Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

 

Job scope and Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Provide accurate information (e.g. share and explain on leather expertise services and descriptions, product features, pricing and after-sales services. Be a knowledge leader on leather care and maintenance)
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing of services
  • Cross-sell or upsell services and products
  • Ensure shop is neatly maintained and pleasant
  • Manage customer enquiries, process orders, take pics of customer items, stock inventory and follow up on delivery dates 
  • Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives and Customer Service team and backend to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • Provide customer feedback to the Sales Manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Meet and achieve sales quotas as a team
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

    At the end of the internship, the programme will gain valuable experience and insights in many areas: 
  • Active participation in strategic planning process, developing goals objectives and branding roadmaps
  • Develop effective communication skills and collaboration skills through regular cross-functional

    communications with Repair, Restore, Refresh and Growth teams

  • Gain experience in Customer experience analysis

  • Learn to manage and resolve clients’ related issues

  • To be able to learn and identify clients’ needs and issues, and discover what it takes to meet their needs in an online retail environment

  • Acquire database management skills

  • Gain knowledge of basic digital marketing skills
