Retail Sales and Customer Service Executive (INTERN)
- Needs to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. - You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.
- A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.
- Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Job scope and Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. share and explain on leather expertise services and descriptions, product features, pricing and after-sales services. Be a knowledge leader on leather care and maintenance)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing of services
- Cross-sell or upsell services and products
- Ensure shop is neatly maintained and pleasant
- Manage customer enquiries, process orders, take pics of customer items, stock inventory and follow up on delivery dates
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives and Customer Service team and backend to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Sales Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Meet and achieve sales quotas as a team
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
At the end of the internship, the programme will gain valuable experience and insights in many areas: - Active participation in strategic planning process, developing goals objectives and branding roadmaps
- Develop effective communication skills and collaboration skills through regular cross-functional
communications with Repair, Restore, Refresh and Growth teams
