Lee & Seah Capital – Full-time Private Equity Internship Position

Job description

The internship position is open for students who are interested in pursuing a career in investing post-graduation. The private equity interns will work directly with our principals and learn from every stage of deal sourcing: research, outreach, business model evaluation, and company due diligence.

Interns will learn how to:

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets
• Conduct research to identify and evaluate industries of interest
• Interface with intermediaries to source opportunities
• Analyse financial statements and business models
• Conduct due diligence on acquisition targets

Required qualifications:

• Undergraduate student (min. 2nd year students)  
• Entrepreneurial, energetic, optimistic attitude
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Keen interest in finance and entrepreneurship
• Good understanding of financial statements
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Helpful qualifications:

• Business-related major
• Prior internship experience

Our offer

This is an unpaid internship programme. However, the principals will organize frequent workshops and events to improve their skills and increase interns’ exposure to innovative business ideas. Training topics include financial modelling and interview preparation, and can be tailored to the interns’ needs. We are happy to assist in future job and MBA applications, and share in the knowledge we acquired from our collective academic and professional experiences (Education: NUS BBA (Accounting), SMU BBM and BAcc, Harvard Business School MBA. Work experience: DBS (MA programme, investment banking), Enterprise Singapore, Ministry of Finance).

Commitment

We are hiring for a full-time positions, either during winter break, or taking an LOA for the spring semester (Jan – May 2019).
