Your role as a Social Media Account Manager will require you to play a key role in creating, editing, and strategically posting content across our existing and new client’s social platforms.
The role’s duties and responsibilities enclosed within are not an exhaustive list and are subject to change. Your manager may ask you to assist with other tasks from time to time. You will work closely and report to the COO, and is primarily focused on social media account management and client liaison.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Develop tailored social media strategy on behalf of client accounts to optimize brand visibility and engagement across platforms (such as Instagram & TikTok).
- Create compelling, high-quality content for social media channels (photography, short-form videography, graphic design).
- Plan and implement content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of social media content while considering seasonal trends, industry events, and company announcements.
- Analyze social media performance, providing monthly reports and valuable insights to refine strategies, enhance audience reach, and maximize growth and engagement.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging social media platforms, proactively suggesting innovative ideas to elevate social media presence and drive substantial growth.
- Client management and liaising with clients on content approval and upcoming social briefs and key events.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and design, ensuring alignment of social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Uphold a consistent brand voice and tone across client social media accounts.
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to identify social media trends, benchmark against industry competitors, and recommend strategic differentiators to fortify our client’s social media presence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or proven relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in social media management, demonstrating tangible results.
- Exceptional ability to thrive under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient knowledge of SEO and social media best practices, consistently staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- environment.
- Sharp time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
