  • Review and investigate daily price movements, suspended and stale price securities to ensure fair value of securities.
  • Process corporate actions events notifications, which involves liaising with the fund managers, ensuring completeness of the instructions and handling queries.
  • Create and maintain security master records and handles stock availability queries.
  • Investigate and adjust cash break entries
  • Attend to service providers, fund managers or internal queries
  • Perform ad-hoc and administrative duties assigned by the manager

While performing the above, candidate will be attached to the Corporate Action/Transaction Processing team and

  • Acquire product knowledge and have a good understanding on pricing methodologies and corporate actions events for different financial instruments, including derivatives.
  • Opportunity to learn and have hands-on experience on the usage of the various systems that are commonly used in the Finance industry, such as Bloomberg and Markit systems.
  • Develop interpersonal and communication skills as the intern will have plenty of opportunities to communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as Fund Managers, Custodians and external pricing vendors.
  • Develop organization and problem solving skills as the intern takes on queries management and learns how to resolve issues independently.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Meticulous individual, independent and fast learner
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
  • Can commit for a period of 6 months
