Conduct research and analyses in supporting the formulation of a China market strategy paper for an offshore asset manager;
Areas of coverage includes China’s regulatory environment and policy directions relevant to fund management, the sovereign wealth/pension/insurance/banking & wealth management/fund management industry, competitive landscape for products, investible asset classes profiling, etc., and evidence collection to test and support recommend solutions.
Skills & Competencies:
A good command of English, especially written, is essential. Flair for and interest in writing ideal;
Must read and comprehend Chinese well, at least conversational mandarin preferred;
Strong analytical and investigative skills;
Good project and time management;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision over time;
An interest in business news and current affairs;
Proficient in using MS Office suite of productivity software
