As a Fulfillment Operations Intern at Loft, you will gain hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. You will work closely with our operations team to manage and analyze operational activities, impacting customer experience and satisfaction. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Interaction:
    • Manage daily interactions with assigned customers, including order handling, providing accurate information, and addressing complaints.
    • Maintain and enhance customer relationships through effective communication and satisfaction management.
  • Business Development:
    • Facilitate new business workshops with customers prior to operational go-live, fostering collaboration, communication, and alignment.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Lead and execute operational process improvements within the warehouse.
    • Conduct process mapping and data analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
    • Implement and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Statements of Work (SOWs) for newly secured customers.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide on-the-job training sessions for operational teams and lead efforts to enhance team performance.
    • Be willing to assist in operational tasks to gain a comprehensive understanding of the operations.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Review and cross-check monthly customer invoices against operational data.
    • Liaise with operations to ensure quick and efficient resolution of customer issues and queries.
    • Prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals as required.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Higher Nitec, a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiasm for problem-solving and a genuine interest in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Openness to learning and applying modern technologies and platforms used in the logistics industry.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to digest large amounts of data, identify key issues, and present information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Commitment to quality management and process improvement.
  • Experience in identifying process improvements and coordinating their implementation.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of basic operational handling procedures for warehousing.
  • Ability to deliver polished outputs in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word formats.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to digest and present data concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
  • High level of integrity and the ability to independently own projects and deliverables.
  • Positive attitude, especially in high-pressure situations and when making mistakes.
