An internship with the Travel Retail division of Luxottica Group will give one an opportunity to learn about the duty free industry and to work in one of the fastest growing categories of the industry. Throughout the internship, one will be exposed to the daily workings of the business and will be able to develop your existing skills as well as learn new ones.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

• To assist the Asia Pacific Travel Retail team in the area of sales, marketing, training and administration.

RESPONSBILITIES:

A) Sales:

• Collection and analysis of sales data from customers

• Preparation of business review presentations for the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) exhibition

• Collation of retail prices and analysis of gross margins of new collections

• Coordinate with internal divisions regarding usage of samples and accuracy of retail prices

B) Marketing:

• Updating of brand matrix by door and analysis of share of space and door productivity

• Maintaining light box dimensions to ensure visuals are printed accurately

• Coordinating with vendor to order and ensure delivery of light box visuals

• Preparation of marketing presentations for TFWA exhibition

C) Training:

• Preparation, compilation and sending of training notes

• Maintenance of training gifts and materials

D) General Administration:

• Compilation of monthly travel expense claims

• Coordinate distribution of samples, gifts and materials

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong interpersonal skill and able to communicate effectively

• Able to work in a fast pace environment

• Highly adaptable person who is able to work independently and in a team as well

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Meticulous and like working with numbers
