M Venture Partners – Communications & Marketing Internship (Venture Capital)

Capacity: Full time, in-person in Singapore.

Preferred Dates: 3 Jan 2022 - 31 July 2023 (minimum 5~6 months LOA from Singapore IHL)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Communications: Support all external communications of the fund, track and scale performance metrics

• Content, Marketing: Create and ideate on content and thought leadership to drive awareness

• Event Management: Assist or conduct ad-hoc activities such as the Fund’s AGM

• Partnerships: Familiarize and network with the VC ecosystem and other relevant players, partners, and events in the space. Support conceptualization for projects for the Fund and portfolio companies as and when required

• Investor Relations/Investments: Supporting fundraising activities and investor reporting as well as ad-hoc industry research

• Various special projects as required

Learning Outcomes & Objectives

You will: 

• Build a good understanding of the venture capital industry across SEA and India, discover in-depth knowledge of the startup landscape

• Be exposed to value-creation projects for VC portfolio companies

• Learn how to create content that best engages with the audience

• Develop networking, design, and research skills

Requirements

• Full time with a commitment of at least 5 months

• Currently pursuing a relevant Undergraduate degree and be eligible for GRT Programme

• Keen eye for design, strong visual and written communication skills

• Have a flair for all things content, writing and entrepreneurship

• Passionate about the start-up scene and venture capital investments

• Proactive with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn

• Excellent English writing ability and vocabulary

• Ability to work independently and within a team context
