M1 Singapore Fringe Festival – Volunteer Coordinator Intern (M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2019)

Summary of position:
 Overall coordination of Artist Liaison and Front-of-House volunteers, including recruitment, scheduling, briefing, contact and support.

Responsibilities include:
1. Volunteer Management
2. Front-of-House Management
3. Artist Hospitality
4. Marketing and Outreach

We are looking for someone who is:

• Organised, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative.
• Able to work independently, communicate effectively and has good interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage various schedules and brief teams for their respective events.
• Comfortable managing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
• Able to remain calm under pressure and maintain a pleasant attitude at all times.

Experience in event organisation and volunteer management is a plus!
Period of commitment:

• Oct 2018: On an ad-hoc basis for preparatory work.
• Nov 2018: Mon–Fri, 10am–6pm.
• Dec 2018–Jan 2019: Full production hours in the lead up to and during the Festival (some out-of-hours and schedule flexibility will be required).
• Early Feb 2019: Additional hours as required for post-production work.
