Key Responsibilities:
- Perform characterization and testing methods for additive manufactured parts, coatings and powders.
- Perform powder inventory management at Makino. Track and record powder outflow , inflow and storage.
- Possess good knowledge of ASTM-ISO standards for powder and part quality, testing and documentation.
- Oversee AM Materials lab management and lab safety requirements.
- Reports to Senior Materials Engineer in Additive Manufacturing department to assist the material development programs.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelors in Mechanical/Materials/Production engineering
- Hands on experience with Powder and part characterization equipment is desired. (Microscope, Flowmeter, Hardness, Tensile, Sample preparation)
- Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of metal powders handling and safety protocols.
- Experience of working with customers for at least 2 years.
