Job Scope / Project Details:
Support our engineers in development of mechatronic products. Analyse the quality and performance of sensors and components that are integrated in our laser-based Additive Manufacturing machines. Develop software tools (prototypes) for operation of our CNC machines (laser-based Additive Manufacturing) and machine-to-machine communication.
Project Involves:
- Support and take over responsibility for the development of mechatronic products from concept phase to design, ordering, and machine integration.
- Develop software tools in applicable programming languages (Python, C/C++, C#, …).
- Integration into a CNC machine (Interfaces to HMI, PLC, NC).
- Familiarization with and implementation of communication protocols (OPC-UA, TCP/IP, UDP, …).
- We are welcoming engineering students who are eager to learn and familiarize with the job scope we are searching for. Based on your interests we can focus on mechatronics or software topics. Ideally, you are interested in combining both disciplines
Requirements:
- Open to students who are currently pursuing Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related fields.
- Preference for students who can commit to 5 days/week and minimum 5 to 6 months duration.
